Detailed Itinerary by days

Day 1
Göcek - Sarsala

Start at Göcek, a fashionable marina town where emerald hills round a harbour lined with gulets. As you glide into Sarsala Bay, a remote sanctuary where the water shimmers like liquid sapphire, sail southward and smell pine and salt air. Drop anchor under an old forest canopy, explore the crystalline cove, and let the quiet of the earth surround you. Grill fresh seabream on deck and see stars flutter to life over the Taurus Mountains as evening paints the heavens.

Day 2
Sarsala Bay - Fethiye

Wake to the soft lap of waves and head east toward Fethiye, where history emerges from the mountains. Arriving to Fethiye's vivid harbour, pass the eerie beauty of Tersane Island, its Byzantine ruins peeping through olive gardens. Moor under the Lycian rock tombs; their faces cut like a ladder to the gods out of the cliffs. Ashore, lose yourself in the spice-scented anarchy of the Tuesday Market, then sip çay at a riverfront café while fishing boats bob in the golden sunshine.

Day 3
Fethiye - Gemiler Island

Set off for Gemiler Island, a sun-drenched island whose ancient Byzantine buildings and stone walkways tell of pilgrims past. After snorkel in the island's blue coves, cruise to Coldwater Bay (Soğuksu Koyu), a secret mooring where rainwater flows down mossy rocks into the sea. After diving off the boat into the cool, revitalizing waves, feast on meze platters beneath a sky striped with pink and violet.

Day 4
Coldwater Bay - Butterfly Valley

Sail west to Butterfly Valley, a stunning gorge where unique Jersey tiger butterflies flit among wildflowers and waterfalls fall between 300-meter rocks. Kayak to the pebble beach, climb to the waterfall, or just appreciate the unvarnished beauty. By afternoon, drift into Ölüdeniz, where the fabled Blue Lagoon shines in unusual tones of azure. Swim in the milky-blue shallows, anchor just beyond the throngs, and see paragliders fall down from Babadağ Mountain like confetti in the breeze.

Day 5
Ölüdeniz - Kapı Creek

Leave the glory of the lagoon behind and sail south to Kapı Creek, a secluded cove where a little entry to a sheltered harbor frames rocky rocks. From the boat into water so clean you will count every pebble below; then paddle to the secret beach for a lunch among tamarisk trees. String fairy lights on deck and tell stories over rakı as night falls, the sea muttering lullabies against the hull.

Day 6
Kapı Creek - Ruin Bay

Plot a route toward Ruin Bay (Kleopatra Bay), where submerged city beneath ancient Lycian tombs hang on cliffs above. After snorkel over underwater Roman columns and amphorae, climb to the ruins of Lydae, an overgrown city of stone where goats graze amid olive trees. Go back to your boat and dive one final time from the bow; the water is warm as silk before toasting the day with a sunset barbecue on deck.

Day 7
Ruin Bay - Göcek

Sail north along the coast on your last morning past coves where turtles surface and pine forests tumble to the edge of the sea. Go back to Göcek and negotiate its twelve island archipelago. Dock in time for a slow walk around the marina, gathering handwoven fabrics or saffron-infused honey from nearby craftspeople. Lift a glass to a week of secret bays, historic echoes, and the freedom of the open sea as the sun sets.
