Detailed Itinerary by days
Day 1Ciutadella - Cala Galdana
Start in the mediaeval heart of Ciutadella, where summer celebrations resonate with horse hooves down cobbled pathways. Sail south to Cala Galdana, a horseshoe bay whose cliffs sink into water bluer than the feather of a peacock. Either trek the Camí de Cavalls, an old path where wild orchids blossom, or kayak to Cala Macarella, a secret bay reachable only by sea. As the moon shadows the valley, dine cliffside at Es Bruc, their arròs de la terra (land rice) boiled with rabbit and saffron.

Day 2Cala Galdana - Cala Ratjada (Mallorca)
Go from the northeastern tip of Mallorca across the Badia d'Alcúdia. Dock in Cala Ratjada, a once-fishing community now a hip venue. After snorkel the underwater arches of Coves d'Artà, stroll around Capdepera Castle, its 14th-century walls providing silhouettes of Menorca. At Es Mollet, where the catch daily comes from Formentor, feast on llagosta amb sobrasada, or lobster with spiced sausage.

Day 3Cala Ratjada - Colonia de Sant Pere
Sail west to Colonia de Sant Pere, a slumbering port where dunes meet pine forests. Search tidal pools for sea glass from an anchor close to Es Coll Baix, a crescent of pebbles enclosed by limestone cliffs. Time stops in the hamlet Cycle to Betlem, and eat Ca'n Bernat, a Mallorcan masterwork, their tumbet (layered vegetable pie).

Day 4Colonia de Sant Pere - Alcúdia
Glide into Alcúdia, where mediaeval walls and Roman remains mix. Moor under the Sant Pere Bastion and plunge into the shallow warmth of Platja d'Alcúdia. Discover the Pollentia ruins, where 2,000-year-old mosaics sparkle, and sip palo (herbal liqueur) at Ca'n Costa, a pub still open since 1761.

Day 5Alcúdia - Port de Pollença
Sail north to the marina Port de Pollença, which lies amid the Tramuntana mountains. From Formentor Beach's beautiful beach lapped by jade waves, paddleboard to reach Eleonora's falcons from the Boquer Valley. While yachts sparkle like falling stars, dine at Stay with their lechona, a slow-roasted suckling pig over almond wood.

Day 6Port de Pollença - Cala Sant Vicenç
From coast west to Cala Sant Vicenç, a trio of bays where evening amber glows from rocks. After snorkel the sea tunnel covered in seaweed curtains, climb to the Talaia d'Albercutx watchtower for views of Cap de Formentor. Feast at Restaurant Clivia on frit de marisc, fried fish, toes in the sand.

Day 7Cala Sant Vicenç - Cala en Bosch
Go back to Menorca, sailing Cala en Bosch south. Explore Cap d'Artrutx's lighthouse, its glow leading you home, then sink into Son Xoriguer's turquoise embrace one last time. End your journey with greixonera, cinnamon custard, in Plaça des Born, the golden stones of which whisper fins aviat. Dock in Ciutadella as the bells of the Catedral de Menorca chingle.
