The magnificent sailing catamaran known as the Lagoon 55 is part of the Lagoon family and is available for charter in Greece. Lagoon 55 is distinguished from other rental catamarans by its convenient location in Athens, in the center of the Cyclades sailing area; its flybridge, huge aft deck, abundance of sunbathing places, and roomy guest cabins are just some of the qualities that set it apart.
The Lagoon 55 charter catamaran features sugarscoop transoms that stretch over the topsides, which make it easier to board and disembark the vessel. Once on board, there are two stairs that lead up to the cockpit, which, once there, is flush-decked with the aft platform. The aft beam disappears when the mainsheet track is installed on the bimini, which opens up the view and your movement choices; now you’re standing on a genuine sea terrace. The forward cockpit now features the same degree of fluidity of circulation thanks to the fact that it is not “dug” into the foredeck like it once did but rather is seamlessly incorporated on the same level as the trampoline. The living area has just undergone a remodel and now features comfortable seating, two different options for sun protection, and communication with the rest of the house thanks to an opening front window. It would appear that the question of whether or not to have a flybridge on a boat that is 55 feet long is no longer a consideration. The optional stiff bimini plainly boosts the boom to a significant degree, which causes the crew to be required to perform some challenging maneuvers.
In addition to the forward-facing table and chairs, the aft sunbathing areas, and the outside galley, the forward-facing table and chairs on the flybridge are extremely fun when the weather is nice and there is a modest breeze.
One owner’s stateroom and three double cabins, each with its own private bathroom, are included in the layout of the Lagoon 55 yacht that is available for charter in Greece. The clever and innovative arrangement on board provides for the most effective circulation possible. The saloon, which is located in the middle of the living area, is flooded with natural light as a result of the presence of two spectacular skylights as well as broad windows. You are welcome to prepare entire courses of meals in the galley, which is furnished with all of the required equipment for cooking. The presence of an ONAN generator, air conditioning, an ice maker, a hydraulic platform with remotes, a composite bimini, and other conveniences will make your stay as pleasurable as is humanly possible. In order to ensure that you don’t miss out on the opportunity for amusement and pleasure while you’re out on the water, Lagoon 55 is equipped with a number of different water toys, some of which include kneeboards, water skis, kneeboards, snorkeling equipment, and a JOBE Infinity sea scooter.
The Lagoon 55 that is available for lease in Greece is an excellent vessel for sailing in the Cyclades sailing area, and it is prepared to take you and your crew on exciting new adventures on the bright and sunny days of summer.

What is Advance Provisioning Allowance – APA2022-11-14T11:39:50+01:00

What is Advance Provisioning Allowance – APA

When chartering a crewed yacht under MYBA terms or special Europe Yacht Charter terms on the fully crewed yachts, you will be required to make a deposit in advance of the charter, which is separate to the charter or booking fee.

This deposit is called the “advance provisioning allowance” or APA. The APA amount is used to cover expenses incurred during the course of the charter such as fuel, food, beverages, mooring fees, visa fees, harbour fees, park fees, taxes, and other expenses not included in the Charter Fee. In the event of cancellation of the charter the APA is refundable.

The captain of the yacht is responsible for accounting for all APA expenses during the charter, and the breakdown will be presented to you in a clear manner at the end of the charter.

If the costs incurred during the course of the charter are less than the APA deposit, then the difference will be refunded to the Charterer at the end of the charter.

If the costs incurred during the course of the charter that are over and above the APA deposit then this difference will be payable by the Charterer at the end of the charter.

What is the cancellation policy?2022-11-12T11:35:29+01:00

What is the cancellation policy?

If the Client wants to change the charter terms or cancel the reservation, this must be done in writing (via e-mail, fax, or post.)

If the Client cancels the reservation in writing, Charteree reserves the right to apply the following cancellation charges:

  • In the event of a cancellation made up to 45 days prior to the start date of the charter period Charteree charges 50% of the Charter Fee.
  • In the event of a cancellation made within 45 days prior to the start of the charter period Charteree charges 100% of the Charter Fee.
  • In the event of a cancellation made after check-in Charteree retains 100% of the Charter Fee and charges to the Client all expenses incurred as a result of the cancellation.

If the Client is able to find a new rental client for the same period of the charter and under the same terms and conditions, Charteree reserves the right to charge for any administrative and manipulative costs incurred by the change.

In the event that the Client has to cancel the reservation due to objective reasons (death in the family or serious illness), Charteree is not liable to return the paid amount, but if the Client rents the vessel in the same period Charteree will organize charter on other adequate vessel for the next appropriate date or for the next season, i.e. Charteree will issue a credit note that can be used in the agreed period.

The credit note is calculated taking into account the difference between the cancelled reservation and the reservation later confirmed for the same vessel and in the same period. Charteree is not liable for damages in the event of reservation changes or cancellation due to situations such as war, riot, strikes, terrorist activity, exceptional sanitary conditions, natural disasters, interventions of local authorities, etc.)
